We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Laundromat Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, while assisting customers with their laundry needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and assist with questions or issues.

Provide instructions on the use of washers, dryers, and vending machines.

Handle customer complaints, or escalate them to management when needed.

Facility Maintenance:

Regularly clean and sanitize washers, dryers, folding tables, and seating areas.

Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors and surfaces.

Empty trash bins and keep the facility tidy at all times.

Machine Operation:

Monitor machines for proper operation and report any malfunctions to management.

Refill soap dispensers, change machines, and vending products as needed.

Assist with minor troubleshooting (e.g., jams, restarts.)

Inventory and Sales:

Stock and organize laundry products such as detergents, dryer sheets, and other vending items.

Process any over-the-counter sales of laundry supplies.

Other Duties:

Manage lost and found items.

Perform regular facility checks for safety hazards.

Follow opening and closing procedures, including cash handling (if applicable).

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Basic mechanical understanding for minor troubleshooting.

Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as-needed.

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in customer service, cleaning, or facility maintenance.

Familiarity with laundry equipment is a plus.
